Moniq is a singer/songwriter from Corpus Christi, Texas.
Coming from a musical family, she always wanted to become a singer like her grandfather Freddie Martinez. She describes her style as Pop with a hint of LoFi R&B. Along with her Latina roots, Moniq’s musical style is influenced by the glittery pop music she grew up with, fused with the smooth R&B sounds of the 90’s and Y2K era. As an artist, she wants her music to tell a captivating story. Moniq’s goal is to create music that’s empowering, confident, and danceable.
